The Many Issues Handled By The Democratic Forum

By Dianne Crane

In the United States the democratic forum usually consists of issues that are near and dear to the people. This team realizes that they have to be the voice of the common people more and they try to stay grounded on their views about occurrences in everyday life.

If you are middle class or living in poverty you can be sure that someone in this group is hearing your pleas. The group lends a hand to everyone of different races and religious backgrounds even though their Republican rivals are only interested in people who present wealth.

Their meetings will cover the issues that people in so called ghettos go through or individuals who are just trying to make it day by day. Gay marriage, employment, abortion, taxes and healthcare are the five major concerns that this team will face during each meeting.

The healthcare issue has always been a problem in the states since many Americans do not have medical coverage if an emergency were to happen. This has been an ongoing problem that the United States President has been trying to fix since he has taken office in 2008.

The team must confront the issue of abortion and the rights which a woman has to her own body. This party is usually for pro-choice and they take this stand in every election. Republicans feel that an embryo is an actual human being from the beginning of conception. Sometimes babies must be kept in incidents of rape and incest to satisfy their moral values.

Christians will stand up and shout to the world that gay marriage is unacceptable to society. This is when the group will intervene on the subject and try to offer solutions. The resolution has come in the form of Civil Unions that are not the same as a marriage but they give some comfort to those of the same sex who want to be together.

Unemployment has been an issue in America and all over the world. This team has to find ways to resolve this subject by extending unemployment loans and providing food stamps to people. There are also summer food programs that are available to people in need. Making these provisions available to all people help relieve some of the strains of everyday life. Job creation is also a top priority for this group which is finding ways to make small business grow. Lowering and raising taxes also fall into this category since job creation will require certain tax increases to certain individuals of wealth.

People who are involved in the democratic forum reach out to individuals who show the many faces of America. The one percent of people who have wealth will have to also give to those who are less fortunate in order to make the system work. The future generation will not have a fair chance at advancement if these things are not done in today's time. As the years go by we will see who makes it and luckily this group will be around to help.

The Fiscal Cliff is a lot more than a Cliff, it truly is a Global Catastrophe

By Vinny Sarotino

Headlines all more than the major News Read:

Washington Post: "Both sides appear upbeat on opening round of Fiscal cliff talks." CNN Income: "Fate of paychecks rests on fiscal cliff." CNN Politics: "A search for 'common ground: Fiscal cliff negotiations start."

Basically google fiscal cliff and you'll see more than 1 billion outcomes about it. Why is this Fiscal Cliff so important? If aren't aware of our current financial circumstance, each locally and globally, you'll be scared straight after you're made conscious. The International Economy is falling apart. Yes, it's a matter of when we are going to fall over this cliff that will be a lot more devastating than the Great Depression. Why? Simply because, it is International.

The NY Instances explains the Fiscal Cliff:

Q.What is the fiscal cliff?

A. The term refers to more than $500 billion in tax increases and across-the-board spending cuts scheduled to take effect immediately after Jan. 1 - for fiscal year 2013 alone - unless Mr. Obama and Republicans reach an option deficit-reduction deal. Ben Bernanke, the chairman of the Federal Reserve, who is not identified for catchy phrases, coined the metaphor "fiscal cliff" last winter to warn on the harmful yet avoidable drop-off ahead within the nation's fiscal path. It stuck.

Q.If we go over this so-called cliff, what occurs?

A. Taxes would rise for almost every taxpayer and many organizations. Financing for most federal programs, military and domestic, will be cut. Several economists say that even though annual price range deficits are also high, these new taxes and spending cuts would be a lot of deficit reduction, also suddenly, for a weak economy. A lot more than $500 billion equals roughly 3 percent to four percent of gross domestic product. The Congressional Spending budget Workplace has stated the outcome would be a brief recession, although some analysts say the measures could possibly be managed so they do much less harm.

Will be the American Economy on the Edge in the Fiscal Cliff?

Absolutely. When we fall off, there will likely be no parachute which will be available to save us. It'll be a difficult landing. Hang on tight boys. The Wonderful Depression will look like child's play compare to what we're about to face.

With its present economic policy, The United states of America had jeopardized our development by digging us in to the greatest Debt Bubble ever. They, the Federal Reserve, together with the backing of the U.S. Government was allowed to print (Print Funds, as a result lower rates of interest) us into oblivion. Each of the Central Bankers are printing funds so they are able to compete with all the low interest of the international currency, the American Dollar.

Once the government tries to intervene the organic seasonal cycles of capitals by artificially stimulating the economic climate, the predictable devastating punishment will likely be an historic deflation, subsequently followed by a horrifying hyperinflation which inevitably creates run away rates.

Because the Government had intervened for the longest time by manipulating the economy by printing a sizable sums of dollars, the aftermath won't be a straightforward recession, but a better depression. "We arrive on the planet naked, and we leave the world naked, so the Federal Reserve Bank is just doing God's perform." They are slowly stripping away the worth in the dollar by continuing to print them on automatic pilot with completely no remorse or concern for the economic impact that it is going to have.

Colorado and Washington Legalize Marijuana

By Mark Anthony

On November 6th initiatives in Colorado and Washington State were passed that effectively legalized marijuana for leisurely use. This marks a historical moment making Washington State and Colorado the first states to legalize marijuana.

The initiatives describe new laws designed to decriminalize possessing small quantities of marijuana by people over the age of 21. In addition to decriminalizing possession the initiatives will open a brand new marketplace for growing, packaging and selling marijuana.

Under the new law in Washington State there'll be a 25% sales tax on marijuana. Forty percent of the new income will go to state and local budgets. This 25% tax rate will be imposed on marijuana products three times. Marijuana will be taxed when the grower sells to the processor, when the processor sells to the retailer and once the merchant sells to the customer. The tax on marijuana sales promises to be an excellent source of important revenue for the state.

Although the initiatives have passed at state level, marijuana remains to be unlawful under federal law. Marijuana continues to be classified as a controlled substance under the Controlled Substances Act of 1970. In a written statement, the Department of Justice has made it very clear that "enforcement of the Controlled Substances Act remains unchanged".

The divergence of these fresh state laws from federal laws is likely to make for lawsuits in the near future. It's possible that the federal government could sue Washington and Colorado for being in violation of federal laws. The Department of Justice is presently evaluating the new state laws as well as similar initiatives around the country.

Questions abound for retailers, growers, consumers as well as businesses that have long had zero tolerance policies concerning marijuana use. It is probable that there is going to be controversy associated with employers penalizing or terminating the employment of people who test positive for marijuana.

Even though this is a milestone for change in both Washington and Colorado it is apparent that it's just the beginning. It will likely take a year or more for all of the specific rules and details to be drafted and approved by local authorities. In the meantime, marijuana supporters in both states will be hoping that the federal government recognizes the choice of the voters permitting each state to translate the new laws into productive and economically viable new ventures.

Everyone is waiting to see how the feds react to the new laws.

The Need For Real Money

By Anne Trimble

God is not dependent on man, and no one knows His timing. But He also made it clear in the Bible that He won't tarry forever. And we have seen many signs that the return of Jesus Christ indeed is getting closer, perhaps even to come in this generation.

So all things considered, the regrettable re-election of President Obama resembles a flea on a camel. It has a part in the immaculate plan God has for us in these end times. But by itself it really isn't the major event, and in the end only the will of God matters.

Still, as believers we need to try to understand what this particular event means in a spiritual as well as secular sense. The way we see it, Obama's re-election - which will bring with it the continued fast erosion of the American economy. The rapid decline of the U.S. dollar and our household wealth is a strong signal that we need to get out of the world's system in every way.

Clearly, man's fiat-money system is getting wobblier every day. And Obama's re-election only ensures that deterioration will intensify as he continues to add to the federal budget deficit, greases the skids for more monetary easing by the Fed, and undermines the U.S. dollar still further.

No matter specifically what happens in the stock and bond markets - and Wall Street on Wednesday indicated that it certainly didn't like what it saw in the elections - your dollar-denominated investments are dependably losing value every day just because they depend on the paper that the dollar is printed on.

The remedy? Think about purchasing God's Money like gold, silver and other precious metals. Now more than ever before, you can be assured that this is the only method for you to have monetary assets that will stand up to the monetary and financial tests that are coming.

There's a good reason that God mandated gold as well as silver as the only "right" money in creation. That's even more true today. While we have no idea exactly how He will bless us for focusing on His Money system rather relying on the fiat currency of man, we do understand based on secular facts that the best place for our savings and other investments today and tomorrow is in precious metals like gold and silver.

Do We Now Have To Smuggle Bibles In America?

By Anne Trimble

Some of the true modern heroes of the Christian faith are people in Islamic countries and other areas hostile to Christianity who smuggle in Bibles for believers.

Now, we may very well need that kind of spiritual heroism in our nation.

Under the new regulations issued by the U.S. Navy, "no spiritual items (and this includes Bibles, Biblical literature, and Christian artifacts) are allowed to be handed out or used in any way when visiting the Walter Reed Medical Center and the Bethesda Naval Center in Maryland, where many injured military people are getting treatments.

Outraged Republicans including U.S. Rep. Steve King, from Iowa, already are blasting this policy, which was buried in a four-page document about patient care and then highlighted by an Army officer.

"Mr. Speaker, these military personnel who are recuperating at Walter Reed and Bethesda have actually given everything they have for America!" King stated this week on the floor of the house of Representatives.

"The people who come to visit them can't bring a religious artifact? They can't bring a Bible ... A priest can't walk in with the Eucharist and offer communion to a patient who might be on their deathbed because it's prohibited in this memo from the Department of the Navy?"

This is Obama's military. And it's yet another reason why we must defeat this man in November. Our nation was founded on Biblical principles and our right to religious freedom is guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. The free exercise clause of the First Amendment prohibits the government, in most cases, from interfering with a person's practice of their religion. The American citizens of all religions should be outraged by Obama's decision.

In closing, let me repeat my main point right here: Our country is buit on Biblical principles as well as our right to spiritual independence. This is ensured by the Constitution of the United States. Because the free exercise clause of the First Amendment to the Constitution forbids the government from interfering with a person's method of their religion within reason, we have to find a means to express our viewpoints about this brand-new policy. For instance, please consider composing letters to your congressmen, creating blog articles, creating write-ups, uploading videos on public video sharing sights, or any other imaginative, but peaceful ways, to safeguard our rights to independence of worship.

Government Stimulation Efforts Could Go Several

By Amelia Shivers

The most recent US economic downturn has proven that government stimulus efforts can cut both ways, and that while these efforts are meant to assist they can make things even worse also. From the time that the economic system of the USA and the world has started the newest decline there have been stimulus efforts by government firms, but plenty of these fell far short and some truly caused economic harm insteadfinancial harm instead . The free market in the U.S.A makes any government disturbance tricky , and this interference can lead to claims of economic harm by other countries and foreigners.

Among the stimulus efforts has been the quantitive easing that the Federal Reserve has involved in, and the international perspective of these attempts are dim. Since the Federal reserve is meant to keep inflation under control this entity has long been purchasing up mortgage securities whilst having measures to keep rates of interest at nothing. Additional currency printing has been used, and this has led to claims to global agencies that currency manipulation has been performed by the Federal Reserve.

Some of the more recent government stimulus efforts have triggered an enormous flashback from the international investment community, and the results viewed for these efforts have been slim. Government bailouts of firms considered too big to fail have already been viewed with a critical eye, and numerous question whether this was the very best use of taxpayer money rather then letting the market correct and the chips fall. A totally free market lacks government interference, and current stimulus efforts reveal that the best of intentions do not always imply good outcomes.

This leads to a common query. Should the government make any attempt to stimulate the economy, or perhaps is this outside the scope and capability of the federal government? Various professionals and analysts might give varying answers. Many people think that the economy should be left alone, and that the best means to stimulate monetary growth is to give a firm foundation for private business.

Some may argue that the efforts by the US government to stimulate monetary activity kept things from getting even worse, but there's no way to understand if this is truly true or not because the stimulus efforts were utilized. The financial system may not have worked out any different if the government had not attempted to stimulate activity, or things could have eventually gotten much worse.
